Ring Sizing

The best way to find out your ring size is to head to your local jeweller and get measured up.

An at home approach is to do the following. When your body is at room temperature (fingers swell and shrink when too hot or cold) wrap a strip of paper or piece of string around the base of your finger. Mark where it overlaps, lay it out on a flat surface and measure the length. Compare your measured finger circumference to the ring chart provided.

You want to make sure your ring is a secure and comfortable fits don’t make it too loose or too tight. If the style of ring is thicker or wider this may affect the sizing and you may want to go up a size.

Although the best effort is made to ensure your ring is the desired size, please note and as we are quite often told in life ‘perfection does not exist’. Ring sizes may be slightly out from the requested size.

As a guide, an average small would be UK ring size K, medium would be UK ring size N and a large would be UK ring size P.

Bangle Sizing

Our bangles come in 3 sizes:

Inside diameter (approx): Small: ~6cm, Medium: ~6.5cm, Large: ~7cm

Circumference (approx): Small: ~18.9cm, Medium: ~20.5cm, Large: ~22cm

Alternatively, place your thumb and little together, as if you were putting on a bangle. Using a measuring tape, strip of paper or piece of string, wrap/measure the widest point of your hand when it is in this shape. Mark where it overlaps, lay it out on a flat surface and measure the length. Compare your measured circumference to the bangle circumferences above to find your perfect fit.

If you are after a smaller or larger bangle than the sizes listed then please drop me a message via the Contact form, any of our social media platforms or via direct email –

Caring for Your Jewellery

Silver, brass and gold naturally tarnish over time. To ensure the longevity of your Teylu Collective jewellery, reduce the tarnish and maintain the shine, we recommend the following:

  • Remove all jewellery before entering water. Brass is particularly sensitive to water so take extra care if your jewellery contains brass.

  • Apply perfumes, lotions and suncream before putting on your jewellery and allow time for products to soak in and dry to minimise transfer to jewellery.

  • When not in use, neatly store jewellery in a cool, dark, preferably air-tight place/storage to prevent exposure to air and the environment that can cause pieces to tarnish.

  • Remove jewellery when sleeping.

  • A jewellery polishing cloth is a great way to give your jewellery a rub and clean, enhance its shine and remove any signs of tarnish. These are readily available online or from your local jewellers.

Remember, be kind and care for your jewellery as well as yourself.
